How We Accomplish D.R.E.A.M.S.

The mission of the Southern Union Department of Women’s Ministries is accomplished through effectual prayers, meaningful relationships and significant ministries. Major emphasis has been placed on each element of D.R.E.A.M.S. to help Women’s Ministries nurture, empower and reach out to women in the Southern Union.

Discipleship
Discipling women through teaching and nurturing activities that assist them in growing and developing into strong disciples who disciple others. Emphasis is placed on knowing Jesus Christ on a personal level and helping others to know, love, obey and serve Him.

Servant-Leadership
There is a great need for the women of our church to develop skills that will enable them to serve effectively in positions of leadership. Leadership Certification for Levels 1-4 is available and all women’s ministries leaders are encouraged to equip themselves through this powerful training tool. The North American Division (NAD) Women’s Ministries has started to update these and has completed Level 1; however, you may use Levels 2-4 should you desire to implement training before they are completed. The Women’s Ministries Certification USB can be purchased from AdventSource.
