Legacy Women

VISION: Centers around discipleship, evangelism, and mentorship. To encourage the younger generation of women to actively engage with the broader community of women in the church to build, live and leave a lasting legacy of godly womanhood for generations to come.

 

MISSION: To empower and equip young women ages 18-35 to grow spiritually, mentally, relationally, and as leaders through cultivating  a supportive and inspiring community where every woman can discover her unique potential, develop her strengths, and lead with confidence and compassion. These young women represent the eight Conferences in the Southern Union.

 

Our team’s purpose:

• Serve as liaison for the women of her conference
• Represent the generational needs, interests, and perspectives of young women in the church and community.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for the Young Women’s Ministries events, and resources.
• Develop and implement initiatives that engage and empower young women to grow in their faith and service.
• Establish a Mentoring ministry for teen girls and women.
• Promote a legacy of godly womanhood. 

Some of the roles and responsibilities of the Women’s Ministries Legacy Team members are:

• Attend online meetings with the Women’s Ministries executive team and other Legacy Team members.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with other team members and leaders.
• Participate in planning, organizing, and facilitating Women’s Ministries activities that target young women.
• Recruit and involve other young women in the Women’s Ministries programs and events.
• Support and encourage other young women in their spiritual journey and personal development.
• Pray  and support for the Women’s Ministries vision, mission, and goals.
