Printed materials have always been an important part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In fact, even before the Seventh-day Adventist Church had an official name, the power of the press was being utilized to reach the hearts and minds with the gospel message.
The Publishing Department of the Southern Union Conference oversees an important method of spreading God’s word. The literature ministry spreads the three angels' message through the Adventist Book Center, Home Health Education Service (HHES), Family Health Education Service (FHES), and the youth publishing outreach of the MagaBook Program.
The Adventist Book Centers in the Southern Union Conference comprise of 12 ABC’s and several stores on wheels known as bookmobiles.
Home Health Education Service and Family Health Education Service, together with the MagaBook program bring the printed word to the doorstep through hundred’s of literature evangelists.
