People are the heartbeat of the Southern Union. The Human Resources Department supports this heartbeat by providing a resource for the employees and conferences of the Southern Union.
HR personnel are responsible for maintaining personnel and service records and maintaining up-to-date job descriptions and job openings. They also provide updates when necessary to the Employee Policy Manual. Human Resources is a liaison in coordinating programs, benefits, and policies that will establish a positive employer-employee relationship in accordance with Seventh-day Adventist policy.
Verified Volunteers Training
Verified Volunteers is the new service for background screening of volunteers (new child protection screening process) and employees.
The training will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Southern Union Conference office from 10am-3pm. Personal digital devices are required.
