TEACHERS' TOOLS

The Teachers' Tools segment of this site has been designed to give our teachers quick access to tools that will enhance instuction and to assist them in finding more creative ways to implement curriculum.  These tools will include resources that are recommended and are approved by the Southern Union and/or the North American Division.

FRENCH CURRICULUM

This program has been created to help teachers who teach French as a Second Language in a multi-grade class, and who are not bilingual. The goal is to help teachers foster in their students those skills, abilities, and attitudes required for the development of communicative competence in the French language.

KINDERGARTEN STEPPING STONES

Stepping Stones is an integrated program that includes all subject areas with developmentally-appropriate activities designed to meet each individual child’s needs. The curriculum is organized into 10 thematic units with strong spiritual connections. A rich children’s literature base is incorporated into each theme, which are aligned with the elementary Pathways program. Individual units include inquiry-based activities which encourage exploration and discovery.

NAD BIBLE CURRICULUM

The K-2 Bible Correlation has been developed to assist teachers in creating daily Bible lesson plans for kindergarten, first and second grades in a multi-grade setting.

This resource helps teacher understand how to manage a multigrade classroom.  It is available for download from the North American Division education website.

Reach is a program is designed under the premise that all students can experience success. It came about after the North American Division assembled the Inclusion Commission in 2007 to develop a comprehensive plan to address the needs of students with varying abilities and needs in regular Adventist classrooms.
